i've done something grievous and i come before all of you with a repentant heart... i've been a terriblethoughtlessbusy careless blogger and have missed my happy thursday post these past couple of weeks! really, i'm sorry guys. it's not my fault! blame it on school, trying to have a social life, (key word: tryingnot succeeding in) remembering to eat, shower and boys men. (more on that in the future...;) so now that i have humbled myself on the world wide web (which is kind of exposing, might i add...) will you forgive me? if you refuse to forgive me i will hunt you down with baked goods until you forgive me, am i clear? AM I CLEAR? i will force feed you my infamous brownies so you will eventually cave in. and you will cave in, believe me.

so i went on a happy thursday hiatus last week because it was my birthday the day before. (insert cheers)
meaning i used the "it is my birthday and i don't want to do anything" excuse.
you've never used that excuse? well this is awkward...
needless to say i used that excuse on everything (for a solid week), including working out. so last night i went on a run. it wasn't easy, but i kept on telling myself i was running from a kidnapper trying to sell my organs on the black market and it gave me the proper motivation. try it, it works!

A couple signs of Summer:
-You forget to shower because you are too busy... doing nothing.
-The promise you made to yourself to "drink more water" at the beginning is now a joke due to the fact that walking to the kitchen is too far.
-Night runs are no longer creepy and the fear of being kidnapped has since fled. Rather, they are now ridiculously refreshing because that is the only time the California sun decides to take a short break of burning the flesh and in turn I can sweat off the box of Ho-Hos i ate earlier in the day. summer diet? hahahaha yeah, right.
-You forget what day of the week it is.
The last one happened to me today. You know, since my weekly schedule is packed to the brim with... doing nothing. Hey, stop judging me! Yes, you! Don't look around and act innocent! And for the record, you are no better than I! After all, you are sitting, looking blankly at a computer screen reading my blog. Who's the one with no life now, hmmmmm?
Thankfully my good friend Anthony (you got a shout out in my blog, buddy! Be sure to document this moment in your diary!) texted me today with a sweet/reminding "Happy Thursday!" She looks kind of evil (just enough to instill fear), wears jewel tones like no one's business, uses eyeliner up the wa-zoo and shouts "Hey Scotty!" at a bar and begins swing dancing with him. Plus her name on the show is Fanny Flowers... Way cool, I know. She is probably the coolest old woman I have ever seen on ABC Family... And that's saying a lot. Believe me.

Am I biased because he is my own flesh and blood? Maaaaybe. Is he the cutest thing since I was an afro-headed toddler 16 years ago? Not likely, but close. Is he my favorite? Yes. I am confident in saying that he will have the most muscular calves when he is a grown boy due to the fact he runs laps up and down the hallway on his tippy-toes. He doesn't require too much attention, eats my cooking, has luscious locks (that's how I know we are related, just sayin') a total goofball (see picture above) and a laugh that makes me melt. Yeah, he is pretty much the best.

I think that we have reached that momentous point in our relationship where you all know by now of my deep love for Thursdays... (pssst... And as of late, this love has become even more bountiful in my heart due to the fact that Thursdays were my dearest friend, Christian, erm, I mean, Elder Sagers P-Day. Well, friends, this was Elder Sagers last P-day on a Thursday in the MTC as of now! (enter a deep exhale of sadness with the lower lip jutting out... Wait, this isn't gaining your sympathy?! It was always a charmer when I was 7!) He is off to Charlotte, North Carolina until he recieves his Visa then he will jet off to Sweden! I am bursting at the seams with happiness for this boy! I can't wait for him to get to Charlotte... But I cannot wait even more for him to finally get to the land of the Swedes! I also cannot wait to find out when his P-Day is so until I see his next email home I will re-read all of his previous emails to the point where I will be able to recite lines from them! I mean...
